Are there any settings in this novel which you have found to be beautiful? or disturbing? or memorable? Describe these settings and comment on why they were meaningful to you.
The main setting of this novel is in the island where no human being was living. I dreamt about being in an island where no one are living and living the life in that island with my friends who are very good friend with me. In my dream it was very beautiful and fantastic, but after I read this book I was afraid that my friends could kill me and even I could kill them because of my evilness in my mind. The setting in this novel that I found to be beautiful is when they had the first meeting at the near of the lack where every one can enjoy their life in there, I felt peaceful and calm. One of the settings that disturbed me is the setting when the children killing the wild boar in the forest, I could imagine the scene of blood and bone and weapons, which made me not to think about the island without any people. The other setting that disturbed me was the scene when the children killed Simon during their party. It was so peaceful and joyful but that terrible thing happened I couldn’t understand it. The memorable scene is that the Lord of the flies was the head of wild boar and it is on the ground with the flowers, I thought it was very interesting scene, because that scene was made from the fears from the young weak human beings.
Wow! I didn't read this book yet, but it sounds really brutal and exciting! Do people really kill each others? The story is probably very adventurous, isn't it? I am definitely going to like the part when children kill Simon during their party! (I like a little brutal & frightening events; they grab my full attention! ) I'm definitely going to try this book =D ----------------------------------- HW, HW, HW!!! Urg! Why do we have to work during break? ㅠ_ㅠ Come to my blog &leave a comment~=D
man~ that's quite desturbing. I'm scard to read that book. It seems to me that Lord of the Flies is a very strong Destopian book. It sounds very depressing and frightening. :(
Lord of the Flies...I am not sure if I like this book or not. Your comments would make people want to read this book! Oh...you wouldn't kill your friends because of your "evilness," would you?? Killing wouldn't be easy because it is stopping someone's life with your hands, which is a serious crime. How would a sane person kill his friend? Don't worry~

Yes the island does seem idyllic but horrendous things happen there. Mrs.Mc.
