What is the major theme of this novel? Why is this theme important to a teenager living in 2007?
I read the book called Animal Farm. This book describes the unacceptable but real life in this world. Especially the people who have evil mind to control everything and have all the thing that they want even though they know that it is wrong things to do. The author describe that part of peoples’ mind to the pigs in the animal farm after the pig called Napoleon became the leader and the owner of the Manor farm. Before the pig called Snowball was banished, and after the revolution, every animal in Animal Farm (after the revolution, animal renamed the Manor farm to Animal Farm) was equal. The animal in Animal Farm made the seven commendment of animalism, and the most important commendment was “all animals are equal”, but after Napoleon banished Snowball with his dangerous dogs that he raised, the pigs had the highest place at the Animal farm and they controled all the power in the farm and keeped every thing they wanted, even though it was not fare. The major theme of this novel is to critisize the people who only see their own good and own pain and be selfish.
Teenager is the future of the society, and this theme is very important to them to know. Now a days, there is countless of teenager in the world who don’t know how to aperciate to people who help them to be successful and there is a lot of teenagers who only think about themselves, which is very scary and unaceptable. In the future society everyone in the world have to be equal and every one have to think about other people, too. They have to know what is good and what is bad and they have to practice not to do bad things but do good things.
